Raising Funds and Having Fun! Expect Distribution’s Family Fun Day 2023
At Expect Distribution, we recently held our much anticipated annual Family Fun Day at the Old Brodleians RUFC in support of our valued charity partner, Andy’s Man Club.
The event proved to be an outstanding success, drawing more than 300 Expect colleagues and family members. Despite the changeable weather, all attendees came to enjoy a day of free fun, food, drink, games, and entertainment.
Colleagues and guests enjoyed a tuck shop, BBQ, bar, ice creams, child AND adult-friendly surf simulator and Sumo Suits, competitive team games, retro gaming machines, lots of live music, and a scavenger hunt.
We also held a raffle, with lots of great prizes won. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients for their generous contributions to the prize pool. Among the generous prizes were:
- A Garden Pub provided by Powersheds – Congratulations Lucas, we are all jealous and still need that photo!
- 5 pairs of Box tickets for HTAFC – Javid was over the moon as you can see from the photo!
- A luxurious bedding bundle accompanied by a £250 online voucher from Rectella / Julian Charles
- 4 curated bundles of cleaning hampers from Astonish
- A £150 Currys voucher courtesy of Fusion IT
- Stylish Volvo jackets and cosy bodywarmers from Crossroads Volvo
- An Oulton Hall Golfing Day for 4, complete with buggies, courtesy of Simpson Packaging
- A collection of high-quality gardening tools from Richard Carter Ltd
- A dinner experience for 2, including an overnight stay at The 3 Acres, provided by Optimum Medical
- £100 Sainsburys voucher from Doug McGill at DMT
And more!
We want to personally thank Powersheds, Richard Carter Ltd, Optimum Medical, Astonish, Rectella, Truck & Bus Ltd, Tipgroup, Doug McGill, Boost Drinks and DPD for their generous prizes. Along with Groovology and Callum Butterworth for their music and Andys Man Club and Steff for the photographs.
Through the collective efforts of our colleague community, we achieved a remarkable fundraising outcome, amassing an impressive £2,000 for Andys Man Club.
