Attention to detail is essential to ensure you are picking the correct items for multiple orders, at one time. An in date valid Counterbalance licence would be advantageous . Job description

We are looking for a PI Warehouse Administer to join our team at our Premier Point site (BD6 1DW). The primary responsibilities of a PI Warehouse Administer is to regularly update stock records, accurately and efficiently. You will be expected to provide administrative assistance as well as warehouse duties within the storage warehouse function. You will investigate discrepancies and provide reports based on count results. Your role is critical to ensuring the smooth day to day running of our operation.

For this role you must be confident in the use of IT and different software packages, such as the Microsoft Suite. Previous experience working as part of a team in a fast paced warehouse is advantageous.

Finance Team

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £18,000

Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will be an all-rounder role with a view to supporting the team with the fiduciary responsibilities of the finance function, whilst developing a high-level skillset and contributing to the reporting outputs for internal/external stakeholders. The role will be focused on gaining a breadth of knowledge of Finance and the wider business in order to gain career development. 

Requirements

  • This position would suit someone who has finished GCSE’s/College and is looking to begin a career in finance
  • Must have a desire to learn and take ownership of own development
  • Not afraid of failure and can turn mistakes into learnings
  • Should be looking to start or be in the early stages of their AAT qualification
  • Candidate will be confident in using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional manner
  • A solution finder, capable of effectively working through problems

Key Responsibilities

  • Posting of bank accounts
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
  • Updating and maintaining standard operating procedures
  • Raising sales invoices for warehousing division
  • Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
  • Invoice processing 
  • Supplier Statement reconciliation
  • Ensure all invoices are matched to a PO and signed off at the appropriate level
  • Report to stakeholders on supplier performance and interaction
  • Support month end closure by ensuring correct cut offs are obeserved/implemented 
  • Ensuring master data is accurate and current
  • Completing Purchase orders
