What Do Our Apprentices Think?

Doing an apprenticeship has helped me learn on the job and given me a head start to my career. I feel as though since starting my apprenticeship I have become a lot more confident through interacting with people of all different ages and I have learnt a lot more of logistics itself. Expect as a company have been supportive in my first 3 months of starting my apprenticeship by ensuring that I have a set day a week to complete my college work in the best environment with no distractions, and they are very supportive in helping me with the college work itself if I am ever unsure on what I am doing. I decided to do an apprenticeship over going to University because I felt as though I was having a head start to my career at a young age and I still have the benefit of being able to learn as I am building up my knowledge of the workplace.

What Do Our Interns Think?

I joined Expect in 2023, having just completed by second year of my degree in Business Management through Aston University.

During the interview and selection process, I found myself being very bought in by the flexibility Expect offered their colleagues and would provide for me me, not only in terms of working hours which enables me to maintain a good work life balance, but also through varied placements enabling me to gain an in depth understanding into various aspects of the business.

What I love most about Expect is the team is everyone is approachable and friendly! As a student and being new the industry I asked a lot of questions, and everyone was supportive in helping me learn and grow.
