Expect to deliver £2000 Christmas donation to Centrepoint Bradford
Expect is set to donate £2000 to Centrepoint Bradford this Christmas.
Centrepoint provides accommodation and support with education, careers and mental health to homeless youngsters between the ages of 16 and 25. Their objective is to end youth homelessness by 2037.
During what has been a difficult year for all during the Covid 19 pandemic, charities, including Centrepoint, have suffered due to the lack of fundraising opportunities. This donation from Expect will help to ensure that the homeless youths of the Bradford district have even more support over the festive period.
Neil Rushworth, Expect Distribution Managing Director said, “Christmas can be a difficult time for many people, especially to youngsters without the support of a family, something that many of us take for granted. Due to the pandemic we, like many other businesses, have struggled to hold our usual fundraising events, so we thought it only right that we show our support to the fantastic work that Centrepoint do with a Christmas donation from the business”
Hannah Winter, Corporate Partnerships Manager for Centrepoint added “Donations like this enable Centrepoint to help some of the most vulnerable people in society. With 121,000 young people facing homelessness each year. Thanks to Expect Distribution for thinking of Centrepoint this winter”
