The Expect warehousing division continues to go from strength to strength as the business walked off with two of the top prizes at the 2011 UK Warehousing Association awards held in London recently.
The awards , held every year at the Dorchester hotel, acknowledge outstanding performances within the warehousing industry over the past twelve months and at the glittering ceremony, Expect collected the Team Of The Year and the Customer Service awards in quick succession.
Judges voted that Expect Distribution had met all the required criteria for the Team Of The Year award, this being significant growth in turnover and profitability, a demonstration of achievements of the employees within the business and clear investment in employees in order to produce benefits to the their employer and clients.
Operations Director Neil Rushworth was delighted with the judges decision.
“Over the last 12 months our expansion of the warehousing division has been very significant with a rise in turnover of 73%. This has asked questions of both our teams and stretched resource at both our sites but they have risen to the challenge and the team fully deserve the award.”
The Customer Service award recognises the business which has consistently supplied a high level of service and account management to their clients but also a company which adds value in efficient methods and ground breaking services over and above the norm.
Rushworth added ” I am particularly pleased with this award as it demonstrates our commitment to our customers. We outline clear targets to our employees in what is required with each individual account and we help them to make sure those targets are achieved”
