Warehouse Operative - Bradford

 We are currently looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT driver for the Distribution warehouse, a counter balance licence is essential for this position and the applicant must have a proven track record in a fast paced distribution environment.

The role will involve various warehouse duties including loading and unloading vehicles, labelling pallets, preparing loads for dispatch and general housekeeping.

Hours of work are 4-Midnight.

Multi drop experience would be an advantage. The candidate must hold a current digital tacho card, Driver CPC and will also be required to undergo a driving assessment as part of the recruitment process. Summary

Traffic Office Team Leader

We are currently looking for a Traffic Office Team Leader to join the team at Premier Point.

The role will involve working closely with the existing team to ensure key operational objectives are achieved through maintaining a high standard of service to our customers.

You will be required to assist in the day to day running of a busy Transport Office by looking after the driver’s loads and collections, dealing with legal compliance, tachograph rules, tracking systems and driver’s infringements. Communicating in a professional manner with all customers, staff and drivers by telephone, email, letter and face to face contact is essential for the role.

You will also be required to hold regular briefings, weekly one to ones and generally motivate the traffic team in addition to managing them to ensure the desk and phones are manned.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure.
  • A good understanding of Drivers hour’s legislation.
  • Positive attitude and a team player

Maternity Cover - Customer Care/Palletline Assistant

We are currently looking for a Customer Care / Palletline Assistant to join the team at Premier Point, Bradford to cover maternity leave.  Main duties will include providing help and advice to all customers and Palletline depots on a day to day basis over the phone, via email and occasionally face to face. You will be required to investigate and resolve any customer/depot queries, problems and complaints.

The role will involve liaising with other departments to ensure that all customer/depot queries are dealt with efficiently and in a professional manner. You will be required to maintain up to date and accurate records of customer /depot discussions and correspondence. This role also includes supporting the Customer Care/Palletline Admin team as and when required.

Suitable candidates will have previous Customer Care and Account Management experience with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and IT skills. They will be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and will be able to identify and resolve problems. Previous experience using a Customer database would be an advantage.

 Hours – Temporary position to cover Maternity Monday to Friday, Hours 42.5 per week 9.00am to 6.00pm.

 

Part Time HR Administrator

Expect Distribution are currently looking for a HR Administrator to work on a part time basis at our Bradford offices. The role will provide administrative support to the HR department and the co-ordination of a number of specific HR processes on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running of the HR function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Preparing the time and attendance report for payroll on a weekly basis and deal with any payroll queries.

Update the time and attendance system on a daily/weekly basis as required.

Assist with all administration for the department, preparing letters, updating files, spreadsheets and filing.

Assist with new starter and leaver documentation including issuing contracts, collating induction paperwork and processing leavers.

Assist with updating employee training records and assist with the coordination of training activities.

Assist with the administration of grievances and disciplinary meetings as and when required.

Assist with reporting on HR statistics such as headcount, turnover and absence.
The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:-

Skills, Knowledge and Qualities:

• Strong administration skills, attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Fully proficient with business software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Mail Merge.
• A high level of confidentiality is required
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience of working in a HR or Payroll Administration role would be desirable.

Hours will be approximately 16 – 20 per week; times/days are flexible and will be discussed at interview stage.
